Sew Grateful Giveaway: 3 in 1

Guys, I'm so lazy and always behind when it comes to participating in online community events and challenges. I think they are a great idea and would love to participate in almost all of them but, sadly, time does not permit me to do so.

I have, however, decided to make a special effort to contribute to this week's Sew Grateful Week run by Debi over at My Happy Sewing Place. I like the community spirit behind this online event and although I have never met Debi in person, I feel as though I know her from, well, soon five years of reading her blog. (We started blogging the very same month!).

So, first up for today is a giveaway! I have decided to offer up three goodies to one lucky winner.

First off, this Vintage Simplicity Pattern. I love the collar on this dress, but it is just way too small for me and I'm never going to grade it up. The pattern has seen better times, as the back facing is missing (easily redraftable) and the sleeve piece is a bit ripped, but it is still good to use. The size is Bust 35 inches.

Next, I'm giving away a copy of the August 2012 issue of the Norwegian Sy magazine (which is pronounced "syu" (kind of) and means "sew" in English). This magazine is similar to Burda and comes with patterns included. Sure, they are Norwegian, but if you have a little experience in working with patterns, you really don't need a translation for these patterns.

And last, but not least, I'm throwing in this adorable, but somewhat strange, badge I have in my collection, hoping that one of you knows a sailor and can sew it onto their gear. Being from a landlocked country myself, I, unfortunately, don't know any sailors at all. Ahoy!

If you would like to win all of the above, please leave a comment with your e-mail address by the end of Sew Grateful Week on Sunday, 2nd of March. I'll send anywhere in the world.

Good luck and go forth and be grateful!

Sooooo Cute! I'm new to the sewing blog world and this giveaway makes me feel so happy. I want to BELONG to this community! How wonderful! That magazine looks amazing. I cannot find anywhere online that sells it! Do you have an online link? I'm trying to use the Norwegian Google but it STILL won't come up!

I'm glad the giveaway makes you so happy :) And you already belong to our community, of course!!!

And as for the Sy Magazine ....very, very strange, indeed! I can't find this magazine online either. But trust me, it exists :) well, on news stands in Norway at least.
I'm totally in love with your sewing magazine! If I won you could choose someone else to give the pattern to because I have quite a few of those myself.
Debi is so cool! Thanks for participating and sharing the goodies!

Awww! Thanks! I just love your giveaway! And can you believe it's almost been five years? Where has the time gone? Lol xoxoxox

Yes, five years! Seems like a long, long time. Maybe we should have joint 5-year celebrations with all the sewing bloggers that started back in Nov 2009. There must be more surely, who are still around.... :)
I see that magazine for the first time - how interesting! Thank you for the giveaway!

The magazine looks awesome! And the badge is way too cute... My brother was a sailor in the Navy- But that was ages ago. It would look really cute on a nautical inspired quilt though! :D ~Laurie from Sew Exhausted

ooops, see below.
Ha ha ha ha! The pattern would be too big for me, so I'd like to suggest that you give that to another winner, should I happen to be the winner, but I would be so interested in the magazine and that uber fabulous badge! It makes me laugh!!
My recent post Sew Grateful Giveaway!! How about some Red and some Threads?
Ahoy There!!! Too cute!! I'd love to flick through the magazine - I've got a few in Japanese & Italian & I'd love to add your nordic to my list - it's definitely not something easily obtained Down Under - a rather large island… And your pattern is in my size - wheeee!!!!!! ;)
Wow! Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance!

Ooh, add my entry to the draw please! The patterns (both vintage and magazine) look great - although I would need to find myself a sailor if I won... You can contact me on dibulous at gmail point com.
Count me in too! That tailor patch is adorable and although i know a lot sailors (raised on an island close to the port!!) I think I would use it for me!! Pattern and magazine seem to have very interesting patterns!
Thank you for giving us the chance to win!
Wow that magazine looks intriguing :) Thanks so much for such a fantastic giveaway! showandtellmeg@gmail.com
How cool! My Norwegian is limited and rusty, but it would be fun to read the magazine. And I know a sailor -we used to have lots of fun together; now he lives halfway across the country!
thank you for hosting this giveaway.
This is one of the most intriguing giveaways! Please count me in!
