Maria and Karin in front of Ray Stitch in London |
It was super nice meeting Maria and her friend Karin, who you can also hear in the interview. This was the first time I've ever met someone I only know from the online sewing community and it's definitely something I should do more often.
I recorded the interview with an old digital recorder I own (-and don't even get me started on how long it took to find a working driver for the device online...grrrr) The audio quality is not very good and we are in a pub but it's clear enough. There are also some cuts in the audio to make it slightly shorter during our rambling bits that are difficult to follow. So you will hear a few silences. These are skillful cuts I inserted :)
My audio interviewing skills are, well, limited (note to self for next recording: try not to sound like an interrogator). Needless to say I'm embarrassed to hear my own voice recorded but who isn't, so here you are. Be kind.
