Polka-Dot Sencha

This is my second Sencha blouse. The first one I made back in  2010 and I love it to death. Unfortunately it no longer fits me and I gave it to a friend of mine who really liked it. I hope she is getting some wear out of it.

Determined to make myself a replacement Sencha I finally got around to it and used this blue polka-dot fabric in my stash to make one a size bigger.

This Sencha is quite a bit more loose-fitting than my previous one but I like this style. It feels like wearing a t-shirt, only much more fashionably. I used Vintage buttons I had in my stash for the back button closing.

I made only few changes to this Sencha, as always with Colette patterns. The only real change I made was a minor FBA. Funnily enough I had to refer to my very own tutorial on making an FBA to a Sencha, which I also posted on my blog in 2010. I had completely forgotten how I'd done it and was happy to have my own tutorial to refer to.

I might have to make another Sencha soon. It's such a useful, Vintage looking blouse to have in your wardrobe. Any Sencha lovers out there?
