First off: SERIOUSLY?
A metallic suit with trousers that are too tight and too short? And then what's up with this wacky pose? I'm also really bored with cape and cardigan patterns that are essentially a square or circle with holes:
I just wouldn't be bothered tracing these patterns off a complicated pattern sheet and also it's just not quite my style. This green dress looks okay, but is very simple and unfortunately has huge shoulders with shoulder pads (or shoulder cushions? - they do look big :):
The only pattern I saw that could have potential is this blouse pattern. I don't like the fabric choice but I love raglan sleeves and once the technical pattern illustrations are posted this might turn out to be a nice cut:
What do you think? Could you find any patterns with potential in this issue? The preview can be found here if you want to see more of the upcoming Burda patterns.
This suit is really hilarious, but I think they need at least one very strange pattern per issue. The pose is not even the worst thing, they also tend to take photos where you can't even see the clothes properly, like the fourth picture: http://www.burdastyle.de/aktuelles/news/burda-style-10-2012-zartgefuehl-romantische-mode_aid_4466.html
ReplyDeleteBut I think the white wrap blouse is nice, it has in interesting neckline.
I liked the short trench jacket in this issue, the wrap top i've seen before on burdastyle.com and the peplum top I liked but instead of reprinting patterns they should give different ideas to which you can gather inspiration
ReplyDeleteI dont like anything.... I dont know if i´ll buy it
